CBI Notices to Tollywood Stars, VVIPs in Emaar Case

As part of its investigation into the Emaar case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday slapped notices to around 100 VVIPs including Tollywood stars owning villas in the Emaar Boulder Hills township. CBI sources said the VVIPs have been asked to explain the rates at which they have bought the villas and related details. All those who were served notices are expected to meet CBI officials at the CBI headquarters from 14 September onwards and present their version.

Among those who own villas in the township include Industries Minister J Geeta Reddy, Kotagiri Suneetha, wife of Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao, former PCC president D Srinivas, YS Vidya Reddy, wife of late YSR’s younger brother YS Sudheekar Reddy, Nara Brahmani, daughter- in-law of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, M Radha, daughter-in-law of senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu, Galla Padmavathi, daughter-in-law of Minister Galla Aruna Kumari, Kasu Prasada Reddy, famous doctor and son of former chief minister Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, G Manjula, daughter of super star Krishna, actor G Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata Shirodhkar and former cricketer V Chamundeeshwarnath.
