Senior actor and Telugu Desam Party leader Nandamuri Balakrishna’s meeting with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday morning raised many eyebrows. Balakrishna made a surprise appearance at the camp office of the Chief Minister at Begumpet and spent about 15-20 minutes with Kiran. Though it is not immediately known for what purpose Balakrishna had met the Chief Minister, sources said Balaiah might have invited the Chief Minister to the Basavarama Tarakam Memorial Cancer Hospital function.
He also reportedly informed the chief minister about the fund raising he had done in the Middle East and Europe for the cancer research foundation. There is also a talk that Balakrishna had informed Kiran about his daughter Brahmani’s intention to withdraw from the Emaar township project, in which she had two plots.
