Anna Hazare to meet Sonia Gandhi tomorrow

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will on Saturday meet Gandhian Anna Hazare and other representatives of civil society to discuss the lokpal bill. "The meeting between team Anna and Sonia Gandhi is confirmed for tomorrow. Hazare has been given appointment at 4 pm on Saturday, sources at Gandhi's residence said on Friday.The meeting had earlier been scheduled for June 30. Hazare has already said he will try to persuade Gandhi to bring the office of the Prime Minister under the purview of the Lokpal bill.
AICC had given indications on Thursday that a meeting between Gandhi and Hazare was expected soon despite differences between the party and the civil society on the issue of the bill.
Reaching out to political parties ahead of the all-party meeting, the Anna Hazare team has been meeting leaders of all hues. The civil society activists had a meeting BJP veteran LK Advani on Friday morning.
