Murder Attempt On MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi

Firing on Akbaruddin Owaisi: Akbaruddin Owaisi, the MIM MLA, was attacked in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad a little while ago. He was reportedly on a padayatra in the area, when his rival Mohammed Pahelwan attacked him with a dagger and later shot four rounds of bullets at him. The MLA is critically injured and has been shifted to Santoshnagar’s Owaisi Hospital. The doctors have said that his condition is quite critical. This incident has rocked the old city where MIM holds his prominence. AK Khan, the commissioner isn’t taking any chances and several police forces have been deployed across Charminar area to ensure that the law and order situation remains under control. No one is being allowed near the spot where Akbaruddin was attacked. Meanwhile, four people have been arrested in this case. Initial reports suggest that the attack was carefully planned and it’s being seen as a murder attempt.
