150 Crore Fraud Case Against Actress Genelia

A Nampally Criminal Court on Friday ordered the Saifabad police to register a case against cine actress Genelia and four others. The court passed these orders basing on the complaint related to purchase of house plots from a real estate company, Anjaniputra Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd.
In his complaint, the complainant Chatta Tirupataiah said that as the Brand Ambassador and Director of M/s Anjaniputra Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Ms Genelia had attracted buyers and made them buy plots in the company's venture located at Kalvakolu village in Maheswaram mandsal of Ranga Reddy district. Tirupataiah has purchased 2 plots and paid Rs. 48 lakhs, but after two years also, the plots have not been registered in his name by the company. The company has also not developed infrastructure or layout in the said land. like this the company has collected nearly 150 crores from the buyers and cheated them by not registering the plots.
The court taking cognisance of the matter, ordered the Saifabad police to book a case of fraud against Genelia, Sujit Reddy MD of the company and three others.
