Stephenson Petition back fires

Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, who recently came into media focus with note-for-vote case, still remain in its focus but for wrong reasons. His close association with Telangana CM KCR and his recent visit to KCR’s farm house strengthen the allegations of TDP leaders that he intentionally takes part in the conspiracy against the TDP government.
Today, once again he faced humiliating experience in the High Court for filing a petition in the court asking to shift J Mattaiah’s quash petition to another bench as he has no confidence on the existing bench. The High Court stated that his petition is creating a wrong impression of the court among the people. So, it treats his petition as contempt of court and orders the Registrar of the court to take appropriate action on MLA Elvis Stephenson under Sec: 15.
The High Court said that it won’t consider the news published in the media as evidence in the case. The court has dismissed his petition, but allowed him to approach Chief justice challenging its judgment. It orders that J Mattaiah case will be handled by the same bench but completely in-camera-mode and outsiders shouldn’t be allowed to watch it.
Actually, Stephenson, who claims himself an ordinary middle class small businessman needs not to intervene in the petition filed by J Mattaiah, who appeals for quashing of his case. But, he filed a petition raising suspicions on the High Court Bench, as if someone directed him to do so with political motivation. It back fires at him and also the persons who is guiding him from behind.
