Centre to set up Dredging Corporation at Antarvedi

Centre gives green signal for setting up dredging corporation at Antarvedi in East Godavari district. Concerned officials of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd. are coming to Antarvedi for inspection of the area on October 3rd.

This project will be set up with an estimated cost of Rs.1800 crore. Corporation Office, Training Center and Infrastructure Development facilities will be part of this project. Dredging Corporation will conduct its operations in Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea from here. Once, a detailed project report is submitted, Centre is ready to release Rs.500 crore for staring the construction works. However statement government has to provide land for setting up this project.
