TRS, BJP leaves Congress behind in Medak By-Poll

Political parties’ strategies to win the Medak Loksabha by-elections are quite interesting. Actually, every one believed that the main fight would be between ruling TRS and Congress parties, because BJP candidate Jagga Reddy has several drawbacks. But, it is interesting to see TRS is considering Jagga Reddy as its main rival instead of Congress candidate Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, who is predicted fighting for second place after TRS in the by-elections.

Hence, TRS and BJP are crossing swords, ignoring Congress candidate. TRS adopts the same policy that was proved very successful for it in the general elections. It tags Jagga Reddy as Telangana betrayer and backed by Andhra leaders. It reminds his arguments opposing Telangana state creation and his association with Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu to highlight its point.

BJP also adopts the same policy that it used in the general elections, but proved unsuccessful. It links TRS party with MIM and argues that voting to TRS candidate is voting to MIM party. BJP Telangana president Kishan Reddy speaking at a elections campaigning meeting held at Siddipeta yesterday reminds the people how the state Congress government was used to dance to the tunes of MIM in the past and asked the people not to let MIM take a ride on TRS government. He demands the state government that to conduct ‘Telangana freedom day’ in Golkonda Fort to prove that it is not surrendered to MIM.

However, people of Telangana are aware that Kishan Reddy’s arguments are not worth considering, because Telangana Chief Minister KCR won’t let drive his TRS car sitting in the back seat. Comparatively TRS arguments have the edge over BJP’s arguments and also may effectively influence the voters.
