Can Jagan hunger strike in Jail

Jagan to be shifted to Seemandhra jail: Sukhender Reddy Congress MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy speaking to media has suggested YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy should be shifted to Seemandhra jail immediately. He asked Jagan whether he is doing hunger strike demanding Samaikyandhra or equal justice for both regions. He said Jagan has changed his stand on Telangana after he realized his party position in Telangana is very weak.

Earlier, Congress MP V Hanumantha rao has demanded that Jagan be shifted to another jail in other than Andhra Pradesh so as his political activities can be controlled. His suggestion has created havoc among YSR Congress party. However, Jagan is still continuing his political activities from Chanchalguda jail itself. His hunger strike is one fine example for it. Jail Superintend Saidaiah, who seems to be fall in line with Jagan Mohan Reddy, has stated he has no information or any request from Jagan Mohan Reddy for conducting hunger strike. He said he can take action only when he seeks his permission for hunger strike.

The question is whether an under trail like Jagan Mohan Reddy will have the right to conduct political activities like this in jail?
