AP CM asks rich to have more kids!

The current scenario of 'one or none' norm being applied by the rich couples seems to be playing a role in the low birth rate in the state according to AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu. Describing children as the 'future assets' of the nation, the CM expressed concern over the rise in aging population in the country.

 

"The one or none norm, which gained popularity as a result of the state-sponsored family planning campaign for several years, has lost its relevance now. In turn, it has to make way for one or more children norm," he said.
