Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Arrested

In a dramatic turn of events, minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana was arrested by the CBI a short while ago, on Thursday 24 May 2012, in connection with Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case. The minister was grilled by the CBI yesterday for over seven hours and again called for questioning to Dilkusha Guest House today.

With this, a wave of fear has spread among the other ministers who have been already questioned by the CBI in this case. It is reported that these ministers are frantically trying to obtain anticipatory bails to avoid arrest by the CBI. Industries Minister Geetha Reddy, Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and minister Dharmana Prasada Rao are also on CBI radar, say the sources.
