Vishakapatnam is the richest city in AP

HYDERABAD: Assembly constituency of Gajuwaka in the district of Vishakapatnam has a per capita income of RS 2, 64,332. It has transpired into the richest among all the segments of the assembly in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The government of Andhra Pradesh, in order to sketch the development strategies at the assembly segment level, has recently estimated the average per capita income of all the 175 constituencies of the assembly and according to estimation, Vishakapatnam District secured first place with RS 1, 24,172 and Krishna district secured second place with RS 1, 22, 773.
