Will Purandeswari sails with Congress

So far, Union Minister Purandeswari has been reiterating that she will contest from Vizag for Lok Sabha, even while T. Subbirami Reddy is claiming it for self. However, it reveals that she prefer to sail with Congress party, irrespective of bifurcation effects on the party in Seemandhra. If, Congress party led by Rahul Gandhi is able to win 2014 general elections, then it is well and good for her, otherwise she has to sit in opposition benches for next five years or more.
There are reports that her brother Nandamuri Balakrishna has approached the couple on behalf of TDP offering Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha ticket to her and MLA ticket to her husband Daggubati Venkateswara rao. He invited them to join TDP that is home for Nandamuri family. However, neither they agreed nor reject his proposal. They too knew that their decision is going to change their future. The discouraging situation in Seemandhra is also a serious factor for them. Besides, the anti-congress wave and Modi hype are also to be taken into consideration. So, they said to be sought some time to think over about Balakrishna’s proposal. However, they are likely to continue in Congress party only. If can’t they may jump into its copy-party to be launched by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. It may give them ease to swing either way.
