Former Bihar CM to float new political party soon

Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitanram Manjhi has announced that he is going to launch a new political party-Hindusthani Awam Morcha on May 10th at Patna. Obviously, he will lead the party as its founder president. He said that he will announce full particulars of his party on the same day. He is expecting large number of JD (U) leaders will migrate into his new political party. He said that his party will contest Bihar assembly elections slated for November this year.

Jitanram Manjhi has expected that he would be given chance to lead the JD (U) after merger of all Janata parties. But, he was expelled from JD (U) party and also forced to quit his CM post even before, due to dramatic political developments in his party. So, he found himself belongs to nowhere. Since, he has some following in some parts of Bihar state he is launching his own political outfit hoping to emerge as a strong alternative to JD (U) and other parties.

Whether his party could emerge as an alternate political power in the state or not, certainly it will provide him an opportunity to bargain with the two national parties Congress and BJP during the elections period, which are gearing for a lonely fight with the six Janata Parties that merged into one recently.
