Simbu's next budget increases further delaying it

Simbu has been waiting patiently for past two years to start his next film in the direction of Desingh Periyasamy. The actor announced the movie with an exciting look an year ago and it has been in pre-production for an year before. The actor did not commit in any other film until RKFI dropped out as producers and he did Thug Life for them, instead.
Mani Ratnam had already worked with Simbu and hence, he finalised him for this movie after Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan quit it. Simbu asked the director to work further on reducing the budget and announced that he would produce it on his own production company ATMAN films.
Now, the reports suggest that the movie will take few more months to start has the budget has been increased from 100 crores to 150 crores. As the actor is waiting to gain funds for the film, it is said that it is getting delayed further. In the meantime, Simbu fans are eagerly waiting to watch him in action with Kamal Haasan in Thug Life.
