Aadi Saikumar, one of the talented young actors of Telugu Cinema, has been trying his hand out at different films and now, he came up with a supernatural thriller, Shanmukha. The movie released on 21st March with Adithya Om and Avika Gor in leading roles. Let's discuss about it in detail.

Plot:

Viganda (Chirag Ali)'s new born has six faces like his uncle and unable to bear his disfigured apperance, he plans to use every tantric trick in the book to change those six to one. A sorcerer tells him that if he gives human sacrifices of six beautiful women born in different nakshatras and also bring blood of Goddess Klin Klara, then his wish will come true.

Hence, he starts finding women and killing them. The mysterious deaths of women grabs the attention of journalism student Sara (Avika Gor) and she starts to follow the case and the investigation officer Karthi (Aadi Saikumar) closely. Do they solve the mystery and stop Viganda? How? Watch the movie to know more.

Analysis:

Aadi Saikumar is good in the Police Officer role and his performance is fine for the story. Avika Gor looked beautiful and has a very big twist in her character, which she handled well. Adithya Om, showcased his talent with a good performance and his experience has come in handy to pull off a typical character. All others did well.

The storyline is different and director has come up with an unique screenplay to take us through. Some elements in the story take us back to Jagadeeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari but the narrative is structured very differently from it. Even visually, the team did their best to pull off such unique storyline.

VFX could have been better and writing could have been in few sequences. But the interesting storyline keeps us hooked through out and Ravi Basrur music also elevates different sequences. We can call the movie a good attempt and watch it for a different experience.

In Conclusion:

The unique storyline is the major USP of this thriller.

Rating: 2.5/5
