The folk song "Godarike Soggadne" starring the real-life couple- Siva Balaji and Madhumitha, produced under the Ava Music banner by Manchu Productions, with Nani Babu helming was released today.
This folk song beautifully narrates a rustic love story between a couple. It begins with a playful conversation about cockfights between Siva Balaji and Madhumitha, where the wife is upset by her husband's obsession with the sport, especially after catching him red-handed. The story then shifts to the male lead trying to convince his wife, ultimately winning her over and turning her mood around. The song captures their sweet quarrels and tender romance, adding a touch of charm to their relationship. On the occasion of the release, Siva Balaji and Madhumitha interacted with the media. During the conversation, Siva Balaji stated, "The content of this song lasts 8 minutes. The entire story is told within the song. I called this concept a 'musical narration.' Initially, we didn’t plan to act in it, but the concept came to me, and later, Madhumitha joined the project. We shot the song in a single take, and we improvised a lot on set. We didn’t struggle with any shot. There are two climaxes planned for the song. It turned out amazing, and I believe everyone will love it."
Madhumitha said, "We started these musical albums with the intention of bringing out the influencer talent on social media. When I was told about this song, I really liked the concept. As a couple, people have always loved us, and after many years, we are coming together in this song again. The Godari dialect used in the song is also wonderful, and I believe it will captivate everyone."
