"Memu Saitham" is an upcoming TV show that will be hosted by Lakshmi Manchu and aired on Gemini TV soon. For this show, star heroine Rakul Preet sold vegetables at Kukatpally market for this show, while hunkhero Rana turned a potter and Akhil drove an auto rickshaw in Khammam. Regina recently sold sarees at a saree emporium in Madhapur.
While celebs taking the role of commoners and winning money is to inspire the people to do their bit of charity, also the program is directly seeking donations from people to give to an NGO. For the same show, today heroine Shriya has appeared at Sampoorna Super Market in Manikonda. She sold the commodities and billed at the counter, and also posed to selfies with her fans. But for each selfie we have to pay money.
