Buzz: Rajamouli plans SSMB29 like a Hollywood film

Superstar Mahesh Babu and legendary director Rajamouli have come together for a film after a decade and half long wait. They have been in talks for a film even before Magadheera, but their film started officially, on 2nd January, with a pooja ceremony in Aluminium Factory, Hyderabad.
Rajamouli took a whopping 2 and half years time to begin his next post RRR. As his previous multi-starrer became a global blockbuster with staple English film fans also finding it fascinating to watch, he is planning a same day release globally like Hollywood biggies for SSMB29.
The maverick director wants to continue the momentum given by RRR and take this globetrottling thriller to next level. Like a Hollywood biggie, SSMB29 will release on same day all over the world, even in Chinese, Japanese and other markets, it seems.
Also,the movie will have an English version cut for major English markets, say close sources. While the team started the film, officially on 2nd January, the shoot will start in April or May and that too, in Africa. More than 4 African countries have been finalised as premiere locations for the film shoot.
Shoot will also take place in European countries and if the sources are to be believed in East Asian countries. Rajamouli is heavily inspired by Harrison Ford's Indian Jones character and franchise films, in designing this film, it seems. For now though, the scripting works will continue till the director is completely happy.
As off now, he has completed pre-visualization for three big action sequences that will have VFX heavy elements. Priyanka Chopra has agreed to be part of the project and she will join from June or July, whenever the earliest, say sources.
Also, the buzz is that movie will be released in two parts - one in June 2027 and another in 2029. The movie will cost a huge Rs.1000-1200 crores for both the parts, say sources.
