Who Funded Balayya's Special Edition?

on Mar 25, 2016

Hardcore Nandamuri Fans are currently busy celebrating the India Today special edition on Balakrishna, which is titled "Legend". Way back in early 2000s, India Today has publicised such editions on Chiranjeevi and later they have made similar attempt on Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. But here comes a doubt.

Way back in February last year, India Today has made it clear that they are unable to recuperate from the losses being created by Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam editions of the magazine. They announced that February 2015 edition is the last South edition of the magazine. Then how come a year later, India Today has published just one edition, that too a special one on Balayya?

Also India Today has relieved all the employees (other than those who are also writing in English) from the magazine, so where come all the people who wrote essays and stories on Balayya for the edition has emerged? What's the secret behind this special edition. Few stories are being heard that some highly influential TDP biggies have funded the magazine to bring out this edition. Is that true?
