Nikhil and Sudheer Varma formed a formidable combination with Swamy Ra Ra and they did deliver a good film, Keshava as a follow up. Now, they have come together for a film, Appudo Ippudo Eppudo. Interestingly, the film doesn't have a buzz or hype around it. It released on 8th November and let's discuss about it in detail.
Plot:
Rishi(Nikhil Siddhartha), a racing car driver in UK finds his ex-lover, Tulsi(Divyansha Kaushik) dead body in his house. He decides to dump it somewhere but gets caught by a police officer. But he finds his wife, Tara(Rukhmini Vasanth) being threatened for a device. Now, he needs to cover up the murder and also save his wife. Who are those people? What is the device? Watch Appudo Ippudo Eppudo Movie for more details.
Analysis:
Nikhil Siddharth sleep walked throughout the film and he did not really put in so much effort to emote. Still, he is able to give a neat performance in action sequences t some level.
Rukhmini Vasanth and Divyansha Kaushik are absolutely wasted in this film. John Vijay, Ajay and Harsha Chemudu tried their best to salvage few scenes. But nothing really worked at all.
Sudheer Varma kind of a director exhibited command over his craft in earlier films. Even though films failed at the box office, his efforts never failed to impress. Such a director making such an unimpressive film is beyond comprehensive.
It is hard to even understand how come everyone came on board and decided to take it so lightly. Nothing works as everything looks made up on the set and at that moment. While the production values are decent, this film is an example of how everyone can collapse when core idea in itself falls.
In Conclusion:
Just a lethargic attempt from a taken for granted team.
