Spyder Takes Solid Opening In Tamil

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder is not up to the mark in Telugu states. However, the movie has done good business in Tamil Nadu on day one. The movie collected over Rs 4 Cr+ gross in Tamil Nadu, which is good for a non-Tamil hero. Spyder takes solid opening in Chennai city. While Tamil version collected 46 lakhs, Telugu version raked 18 lakhs in the city.
In fact, AR Murugadoss and SJ Suryah factors have helped the movie to do well in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai. In fact, no big competition at Tamil box office assisted Spyder to dominate in the territory.
Coming to overseas, Spyder starts with a bang in Australia. On Wednesday, Spyder minted A$ 113,494 [Rs 58.39 lakhs] from 27 locations. In USA, Spyder crosses $ 1 million. The AR Murugadoss directorial collected $ 1,005,630 [Rs 6.59 cr] from 236 locations on Tuesday. However, booking are pretty weak for the movie for next shows in most of the centers owing to negative talk.
