Aamir Khan’s Only Hope Is Rajamouli

on Sep 28, 2017

Aamir Khan is one of the top stars in India, whereas SS Rajamouli is currently the most wanted director in the country with 100 per cent success rate. Interestingly, making Mahabharata is dream of both the talented persons. While Rajamouli announced to start Mahabharata after wrapping up prior commitments, Aamir Khan expressed his wish to play either Krishna or Arjuna in the epic which will be made in 3 to 4 parts.

During his recent interaction with media as to promote his upcoming film Secret Superstar which is slated for release during Diwali, Aamir said, “My dream project is to make the Mahabharata but I’m afraid of starting the project as I know it will consume at least 15-20 years of my life. My favourite character is Karna, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to play him due to my physique. I may just have to play Krishna. I also liked the character of Arjun. He was the only person who asked Krishna why he had to kill his own people.”

Actually, no filmmaker in India has the intentions or guts to make Mahabharata except for Rajamouli since producers may not dare to invest over 1000 cr on others. Thus, Rajamouli who is also wishing to make Mahabharata on grand scale has plans to rope in top stars in India for key roles. Aamir Khan must be casted for Krishna or Arjuna, wherein few Telugu actors would also get chance in the gigantic project which may go on floors after 3 to 4 years.
