Young Tiger Jr NTR’s highly anticipated film Jai Lava Kusa has been carrying excellent buzz in the film circles. The film which is set for release during Dussehra is a hot cake in the trade circles. As per trade analysts, Jai Lava Kusa is expected to make a pre-release business around Rs 100 to 110 crores. Telugu State theatrical business is done for almost all areas.
Latest we heard is Jai Lava Kusa overseas rights were sold for a staggering price of Rs 10.75 crores which is highest ever for NTR. The actor’s last movie Janatha Garage had done a business of around $2 Million in the USA box office. In order to become a safe venture, Jai Lava Kusa needs to collect minimum of $ 3 million.
Superstar Mahesh Babu who is also coming for Dussehra with his film Spyder is a big star in overseas, compared to NTR’s market stamina there. Thus, it will be not an easy task for Jai Lava Kusa to reach 3 M mark. Only positive response after release can only save the overseas distributors!
