C Kalyan was interrogated by the City Crime Station (CCS) police officials and they have even booked few cases against him including that of a movie financier Vyjayanthi Reddy, Shalimar Videos, etc. It was evident that Singanamala Ramesh Babu threatened everyone using Maddelacheruvi Suri and Bhanu Kiran’s name and he used to carry all these in C Kalyan’s locations. C Kalyan was also one of the binami names for Bhanu Kiran, who purchase properties. However, the CCS police officials did not arrest C Kalyan because he was available for investigation at all times. But when they transferred the case to CID, the case was expedited and they eventually caught Singanamala Ramesh. And C Kalyan thought the CID officials would even arrest him and as such he applied for anticipatory bail.
