Popular anchor lands a role in Hindi remake

Anchor Srimukhi who is creating a lot of buzz in Tollywood off late for her performances as an actress on the big screens seems to be striking gold. She has landed a plum role in the Telugu remake of a Bollywood film. The hindi hit movie Hunterrr is being remade in Telugu with Srinivasa Avasarla as the lead of the film. The movie is an adult comedy drama which would be quiet a rare genre in Telugu cinema. The movie which was originally directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Also featured Gulshan Devaiah,Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar in lead roles.
Srinivasa Avasarla while talking about the yet-untitled Telugu remake said the upcoming project will be a bold yet emotional film.“The second half of the film is so emotional, I was moved by it. People assume it’s an adultcomedy but the story and the character has a deeper meaning to it. The remake will be bold, but at the same time equally emotional,” Srinivas was quoted as saying. The movie is being helmed by debutant Naveen Medaram. The film has already gone on the floors and they are currently shooting the childhood portion of the protagonist.
