Vijay Sethupathi playing a cameo in Rajinikanth Jailer 2?

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Superstar Rajinikanth have become fan favourite in the movie, Petta. Their on screen camraderie is highly talked about post the release of the film. Now, their is a chance of both of them appearing together in Jailer 2, as per the recent reports.

The reports from Tamil Cinema state that Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting his portions in GOA for the film. They also state that Sethupathi is playing an extended cameo in the film and his character has not been revealed yet. While all the fan favourites will return from the original, there will be few additions, too.

Vijay Sethupathi has been included as part of the few cameos that will appear to help Jailer in his biggest mission ever, say sources. Nelson Dilipkumar is directing the film and its shooting will continue till December, and composer Anirudh Ravichandran will be given three months to complete BGM and re-recording works.

Well, Nandamuri Balakrishna has been stated to have denied to appear in the film. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar have been confirmed to appear in the sequel while Mithun Chakraborthy is slated to be an antagonist. More details yet to be announced by the makers.
