Is The Raja Saab facing trouble with OTT deal?

Prabhas is the reigning Superstar of Indian Cinema and it is hard to comprehend that his film is finding it hard to close an OTT deal. His upcoming film, The Raja Saab, producers are facing issues with closing the deal with OTT platforms. Due to several postponements, the filmmakers have unable to get the perfect deal.

As per the sources, People Media Factory, the production house of the film is asking for a huge price but several platforms have asked them to bring down the price by at least 25%. Already the OTT deals for Salaar 2, Kalki 2 and Spirit have been closed, say reports. Spirit made a whooping Rs.160 crores already.

It is interesting to note that even Fauji, his immediate next after The Raja Saab has also not closed the OTT rights deal, yet. Well, the producers of The Raja Saab are expected to complete the deal in coming two weeks. They are confident that post release, movie will be a big hit hence, the deal will be big enough.

Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal are playing leading lady roles and Maruthi Dasari is directing the film. Currently, the makers have locked 9th January 2026, release date for the film.
