A social gathering was held on Saturday 23rd evening at local hotel as part this event. Local community participated and expressed their happiness and enthusiasm to be part of the event. In particular, youth came forward to be part of the organization and pledged to serve Telugu community.

 


The cricket tournament was conducted at Bonsall Park in Wilmington, Delaware.  Delaware Kingpins team Lead by Yaspal Kovvur was evolved as the Champion for 2012. Regional finals were played between Kingpins and 2011 ATA Cup Champions Challengers lead by Laxman Parvathaneni. Winners will be Playing ATA National Cup at Atlanta on July 6th 2012.
 
This event was organized by regional coordinators Uday Kommireddy and Madhav Mosarla under the advisory of Parmesh Bheemreddy, ATA Board of Trustee. Prominent Community members Ravi Mayreddy, TAGDV President Ravi Potluri and member at large Shreedhar Gudala attended the event.

The trophies were presented By Parmesh Bheemreddy for ‘winners’ and ‘runners’ and token of appreciation presented to all the volunteers. Prashant Guduguntla, Lalith Kuntla, Kiran Ala, Ram Gajavelli, Srinivas R Keshavarapu, Sarath Bandla, Srini Amarvadi, Kamal Nellutla, Domal Ganapathi and Satish Sistla helped organize and coordinate the games. The event was co-sponsered by Venkat Madipadaga and Satish Reddy and food was supplied by Bawarchi Indian restaurant.
