Telangana government not approached us for help: Centre

Perhaps, Minister of State for Power and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal’s remarks made against Telangana CM KCR has had its effect on KCR. Goyal said, “Although, Centre is ready to help the states, some states and their Chief Ministers’ are not showing any interest to take our help. No one from Telangana government has consulted us seeking our assistance to overcome the power crisis situation in Telangana state.”

Even people of Telangana also believe the same. KCR or any of his ministers have not approached any Union Minister so far seeking Centre’s assistance for the development of the state.

Hence, CM KCR is leaving for New Delhi today on a two-day visit. He will meet Power and Energy Minister Piyush Goyal and several other union ministers during these two days. He may ask additional power supply from Central Grid and also put several proposals like laying new transmission lines, setting-up new power plant, solar plants and wind mills etc. KCR is said to be got Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appointment for tomorrow 11.30 am.
