Even before the dust settles of Kamal Hassan’s ‘Viswaroopam’ film controversy, yet another controversy erupts with director Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming film ‘26/11’ based upon the terrorists attacks on Mumbai. A lawyer named Teegala Ram Prasad has filed a petition in High Court yesterday appealing for a stay on the film release. He argues that, RGV has projected the terrorists’ attacks as heroic move, which hurts the feelings of victims’ families, if the film is released. Responding to petition, High Court has served notices to Ram Gopal Varma to submit his explanation regarding the complaint made against his film with one week. Film ‘26/11’ is slated to release on March 5th in Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.
