Like in Tollywood movies, a bunch of Nigerian students beat up the policemen in Hyderabad. The incident took place at Langar Houz police station around Thursday midnight.
On receiving information that some youngmen in the nearby Salarjung Coloney are engaged in a street fight, Langar Houz policemen went to the spot and rounded up 10-12 students, mostly Nigerian nationals. They were brought to the police station and were locked up in a cell. Around midnight, the students somehow broke the lock-up door and attacked the policemen present in the station. They beat the policemen indiscriminately and damaged the furniture. Luckily, some rowdy-sheeters brought there by police in view of the Hanuman Jayanthi the next day, saved the policemen. Otherwise there would have been a couple of casualities, say the reports
