First ever Indian Elephant village neglected

The elephants are living in a pitiable state at their 'Haathi Gaon' which was set up in the year 2010 in Rajasthan. It is India's first and the world's third elephant village that was meant to be a tourism product. Currently it is in a sad state and is getting worse by the year. Though Rs 2.31 crore is there in the elephant village development fund account, not single tree has been planted to create a climate for the elephants in captivity to survive comfortably.
