Emergency Cabinet meeting summoned

An urgent meeting of Union Cabinet is summoned by PM Dr. Manmohan today to discuss the emergency situation aroused in the state due to Seemandhra electrical employees. The meeting begins at Prime Minister’s house a short while ago. In wake of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s reiteration of his Samaikyandhra stand, the Cabinet may take some crucial decision in the meeting. Either it may give a final call to Kiran Kumar Reddy or summon him to New Delhi to make him fall in line with the party and the government. However, the cabinet may not afford to replace him in the prevailing situation or imposing President’s Rule on the state as it may provoke the agitating employees and the people that may further worsen the situation. The outcome of the meeting may be known within couple of hours from now.
