I was not there when it happend: Boyapati

Director Boyapati Srinu rubbished the opposition parties’ allegations of shooting short film on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on the day one of Pushkarams, when 27 people were died in stampede. He said that he was asked to film Godavari Harati program conducted in the evenings and not any short film on Pushkarams.

Boyapati said that he left Rajahmundry soon after he completes shooting of Godavari Harati, a day before Pushkarams commencement. He said that he was not in Rajahmundry when the tragedy takes place. He said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wants asked him to shoot Godavari Harati program so as to highlight it and attract the people from all over.
