AP Assembly to take up no confidence motion against Speaker

The Business Advisory Committee meeting held by the AP Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Shivaprasada Rao was concluded a short while ago. It was decided to take up the no confidence notice served by the YSR Congress party against speaker Dr. Kodela Shivaprasada Rao on 4th April. The committee also agreed to take up the privilege notice served by the ruling TDP MLA Anita against the 9 YSR Congress party MLAs for misbehaving with the Speaker.

The YSRCP has is ready to compromise with the ruling party, but it is not ready for it. The YSRCP proposes that if the ruling party spares its MLAs from suspension, it is ready to withdraw the no confidence notice served against the speaker. But, the ruling party seems has made up its mind to suspend the 9 YSR Congress MLAs from the house and so it accepts the notice served by the opposition party also.
