TG & AP will solve water disputes amicably

HYDERABAD: On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana accepted to solve all the pending disputes of water amicably. The decision has been taken at the Apex Council meeting which has been conducted on the very day in New Delhi. Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti, who chaired the Apex Council meeting, said that, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the Chief Minister of Telangana also accepted to meet in Hyderabad to solve the issues related to the sharing of Godavari and Krishna rivers’ water. KCR and Chandra Babu were also complimented by the Minister for their ‘proactive attitude’ to resolve the contentious issue.
