YSRCP has 2 new entrants

The YSR Congress party also has a thing or two to be happy about. With the Congress MP Ananta Venkatarami Reddy and Emaar scam prime accused Koneru Rajendra Prasad joining the Party this week the party looks to boost its image in the Seemandhra politics. A Lok Sabha member from Anantapur, Venkatarami Reddy’s entry is expected to raise the party expectations in the Seema region of Anantapur. Whereas the other entrant Koneru Rajendra Prasad will be a probable contender for the Vijayawada Lok sabha Seat as he hails from the Kamma community. He has been chosen by Jagan as a last minute resort after several names including his sister Y S Sharmila P.V.P Prasad of the Potluri group and Nimmagadda Prasad were considered. He kick started his political campaign from Jaggayyapeta to the party office at Vijayawada. A native of Krishna district and a Jagan henchman, Prasad was involved in real estate and infrastructure business in Dubai and other foreign countries. It is a well known fact that he was arrested and jailed for 9 months before he got bail in August 2012 in the Emaar properties scam and in the other case involving Jagan’s illegal assets. It goes to see what credibility he provides for the Party image during the campaigning time. He has already stated that he would make Vijayawada a top destination by improving the infrastructure of the town.
