Rajamouli, Why Just Prabhas Man?

There are a horde of big-stars in Telugu industry including the likes of Pawan, Mahesh, Charan, Jr NTR and Bunny whose stardom is comparatively little bigger than that of Prabhas. But director giant Rajamouli picked up this hunk for Baahubali and there should have been reasons to justify his pick. Let’s see what Rajamouli says.

Calling that ‘Amar Chitra Katha’ tales are his inspiration behind carving out an epic flick like Baahubali, Rajamouli points out the need to make larger-than-life films to bring the best of Indian creativity. Then why did he picked Prabhas for the role? “We worked on Chatrapathi earlier and that brought us close both creatively and on personal front”, reveals Rajamouli, hinting the need for rapport between heroes and directors.

“I needed someone who looks giant, carry that royalty and still have that tender heart. Who is the best best than Prabhas?”, he added. Also Rajamouli underlined that when he asked an year of dates from the hunk hero, he got 2 years of dates in return citing the need for the film. That explains us why he travelled with Prabhas.
