'Andhra Pori’ Hurts Sentiments, Petition File

Getting hurt by films, film titles and dialogues inside a movie is something not new to Telugu Film Industry. All these days we have seen people belonging to various caste, creed and religion filing cases on films and dragging the producers and directors to court.
Latest to join this list is “Andhra Pori” that features Puri Jagan’s son Aakash Puri and TV serials fame Ulka Gupta in the leads. Andhra Settlers Forum from Hyderabad has complained that this film’s title is hurting their sentiments a lot. They have mentioned that the title is disgusting and should be changed immediately. A petition in this connection is lodged with High Court.
“Andhra Pori” is produced by LV Prasad’s grandson Ramesh Prasad, while Raj Madiraj is helming the project.
