Since her childhood, Shriya Saran was buoyant about modeling and acting. In fact, Shriya took the modeling route early in her career and appeared in various commercials including like Brookbond, Red Label, Lux and Head & Shoulders, etc. Further, an upbeat Shriya was also part of music videos like Tirakthi Kyun Hawa.
In 2001, Shriya made her debut in Telugu movies with Ishtam. But Shriya Saran shot to fame with the Telugu movie Santosham (2002) where she shared screen space with Nagarjuna. She got received admiration and has completely left the modeling world and threw her weight behind acting. Since then, Shriya Saran did not look back and went on to become one of the reigning queens of South Indian cinema.
