Their resolution is enough to disqualify: TDP

Five TDP MLCs headed by Balasani Lakshmi Narayana have passed a resolution merging TDP with TRS party. Later, they met Council Chairman Swami Goud and handed over their resolution copy recommending for the same.

However, TDP legislative council leader Narasa Reddy argues that their resolution itself provides a strong reason to disqualify them. “How can they recommend the Council Chairman to merge a party with another party when they are not at all authorized to do so? Any political can take such decisions only by its governing body led by its President and not a handful of councilors. So, they have violated the party discipline by crossing the party lines and also now by passing such resolution. It is enough to recommend the Council Chairman to disqualify them,” he said.
