Vidaamuyarchi release date to be finalised soon

Vidaamuyarchi movie starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan has been postponed to a new date from Pongal date. But the makers have completed the movie post-production works as per the plan. The movie has been censored with U/A certification and runtime has been locked at 2 hours 32 minutes.

The movie production house Lyca Productions have been in talks with Paramount Studios to clear the copyright claims. The talks between both the producers have reached a final stage and Lyca have decided to offer them a deal that would give them a part from the movie collections after theatrical release.

The producers did not want to give them entire amount they have quoted but they have decided to come up with a deal that would help them with sharing profits and collections. We have to wait and see, how soon these talks will be over. But the Tamil media reports are stating that by Pongal festival, they will make an announcement.

For now, as the censor formalities are also over, the producers are looking at Republic Day weekend and 30th January dates, for time being. While the reports are not confirming any date, they state that Vidaamuyarchi will release in January, only. The movie is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
