Venkat Prabhu planned Mankatha with Ajith and Nagarjuna?

Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya and director Venkat Prabhu's upcoming film 'Custody' is ready for release on May 12. Krithi Shetty acted as heroine in this movie. Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar and Priyamani played key roles. Ahead of the release, Venkat Prabhu interacted with Telugu media about the film.
While talking about the film he opened up about how he met Naga Chaitanya. He said "I met Chaitanya even before Mankatha at his home. I went to meet Nagarjuna sir to narrate Mankatha. When I started writing Mankatha (Gambler) I've had Kollywood star Ajith Kumar sir & Nagarjuna sir (Arjun Sarja role) in mind. I've narrated the story to King Nagarjuna garu but it didn't happen."
Talking about the sequel for the film, he said "There is a small clue in the film and it leads to another interesting story. If you guys can find it and make Custody a big success then we will definitely do a sequel."
Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the tunes. Srinivasaa Chitturi produced the film.
