Mega hero Varun Tej is gearing up for the third schedule of his upcoming film "Matka," directed by Karuna Kumar. Due to his prior commitments, including the release of "Operation Valentine" and shooting scenes for "Matka," Varun needs to regrow his hair and beard to maintain consistency with his character's appearance.
In "Matka," Varun will portray a character across three different stages of life: aged 20, 30, and 50, set against a vintage backdrop in an action-packed narrative. Notably, for the role of the 50-year-old version, Varun plans to undergo a physical transformation by gaining authentic weight, foregoing the use of prosthetics to appear out of shape.
This dedication to his role mirrors the transformative efforts of actor Aamir Khan in "Dangal," where he similarly altered his physique for authenticity. Varun's commitment to his character's physical evolution adds anticipation to how he will execute this real-life stunt, demonstrating his versatility and dedication as a mega hero in the film industry.
