Varun Tej Matka Trailer: Different yet similar

Varun Tej, one of the most prolific actors of Telugu Cinema, is coming up with Matka. The movie trailer has been released on 2nd November and it is different from regular Telugu films yet it is similar to gangster dramas. The trailer doesn't really project anything new while it tries to put all the heavylifting on the shoulders of Varun.

While the actor has tried his best in transforming his looks, body language and dialogue delivery, the visuals look highly inspired from earlier films. Few scenes represent his attitude but they don't really suffice for lack of originality. Still, the movie trailer promises what to expect from it and sets right expectations.

It is more about performance of Varun Tej and it would be about it. GV Prakash pulsating score is good and visuals are apt too. Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments production values are extraordinary as well. But at the heart of the trailer, the stylish visuals take over the content.

We have to wait and see, how the movie will play out and mix it all. Matka is releasing on 14th November 2024 and Karuna Kumar has directed it. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi are playing leading lady roles.
