Telugu Heroes and Tamil Directors, Disastrous Combo?

After Pan India success of Bahubali, cross collaborations between industries increased. Especially the solid industries in south, Tollywood and Kollywood going hand in hand with almost every film. Tamil stars has good craze in craze and Tamil directors too.
So, the audience and fans are getting excited when thier hero announces a movie with Tamil director. But Tamil directors are failing to handle Telugu heroes and giving flops to the actor's.
Previously Mahesh Babu's Spyder directed AR Murugadoss and Naani directed by SJ Suryah, Nani's Janda Pai Kapiraju directed by Samuthirakani, Pawan Kalyan's Komaram Puli & Panja and many other Tamil director films with Telugu heroes became disasters.
Recently Ram Pothineni's The Warriorr became worst disaster in actors career. Now the same is happening for Naga Chaitanya's Custody. The film opened to mixed reviews and the film failed to get a solid start at box office.
Some Telugu heroes think that if they make a film with Tamil directors, their market will increase there too. After the release it actually decreasing the market in own states. And let's see if this sentiment will break in future.
