Telangana Police still going after Allu Arjun?

on Dec 30, 2024

Telangana Police have arrested Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2 The Rule premiere stampede case. They have been keen to arrest the actor blaming as the big reason for stampede. CM Revanth Reddy has stated that Allu Arjun conducted a roadshow in the Sandhya Theatre premises even though there is huge crowd and did not leave the theatre even upon repeated requests from Police. He even stated that he did not respond to woman - Revathi's death as well.

Now, the Police have moved to court to cancel Allu Arjun's bail. The actor got interim bail for four weeks from High Court after he got sent to Judicial Custody. Police have asked the Court to cancel the bail as the actor is also among the primary accused.

Court has decided to take up the case on 3rd January after listening to initial arguments. Looks like Police doesn't want the matter to rest or seem to have no idea to give the actor any respite. On the other hand, Pushpa 2 The Rule has achieved breakeven status in Nizam and North America markets.

Movie failed to collect as anticipated in Kerala and Tamil Nadu markets. But it collected huge Rs.700 crores Nett gross collections in Hindi Markets taking the gross to huge Rs.1700 crores worldwide gross. In Telugu states, the movie has achieved third place in share collections post RRR and Baahubali-2.
