But she has come up with Sookshmadarshini in Malayalam and raising star Basil Joseph has been cast in another leading role in the film. The movie released on 22nd November and let's discuss about the movie in detail.
Plot:
Priyadarshini (Nazriya Fahadh), wife of Antony (Deepak Parambol) and mother of a young daughter, decides to find a new job. But she gets suspicious of their new neighbor Manuel (Basil Joseph) and his connection with his mother. She starts to investigate into his actions with the help of her local neighborhood gang, Sulu (Akhila Bargavan), Asma (Pooja Mohanraj). Why she got so suspicious about Manuel? What is the reason behind his weird activities? Watch the movie to know more.
Analysis:
Nazriya showcased a highly matured side to her performing capabilties in this film. She is hyper-active at the same time very controlled, subdued from her previous performances. As a person, who is highly curious to get answers for her suspicion, she did a great job. Basil Joseph, once again, proved that he is one of the best performers with this role. He is able to create suspicion with a laughing face expression and his performance makes the film what it is.
While everyone impress us with their performances but Akhila stands out. Music by Christo Xavier adds to the intrigue and curiosity that we feel throughout. He is able to score aptly to the situation. Production values and technical aspects are top notch. With a very nominal budget, the makers have been able to give us a thrilling theatrical experience.
Writer and director MC Jithin has expertly crafted a thriller using realistic elements without exaggerating. While few elements seem to have been dramtised for effect, the core remains realistic and believable without over the top stunts to prove masculinity or feminism. With a grounded story telling and engaging screenplay, the director has been able to hold our interest with stunning twists. The cause, act and investigation everything is executed to pitch perfect level accuracy.
In Conclusion:
The movie holds your interest throughout and it is a must-have theatrical experience.
