Salman Khan fans unable to digest Sikandar box office result

on Apr 1, 2025

Salman Khan has been one of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema and he released Sikandar for this year's Eid. The movie makers decided to release on 30th March, Sunday, to overcome Pre-Eid dull box office. Makers anticipated the Eid day to be huge but it did not showcase the expected level growth at the box office.

The movie collected Rs.22 crores Nett collections and on Eid day, it collected Rs.25-26 crores Nett collections. With just Rs.47-48 crores Nett collections for Eid holiday, that too, with a big action entertainer, fans of the actor are unable to digest this sort of box office result.

Sikandar needed to collect above at least Rs.40 crores both the days. The movie would have collected Rs.85-90 crores even with low buzz, 5-6 years ago. Now, due to continuous flops, the collections are too low even though few mass circuits performed better on Eid Day.

Being such a big star over the decades and with 2010's being his best decade in the industry, that too, sporting an unreal domination, fans are expecting a huge comeback from him. Fans are expecting at least good collections to showcase his hold on box office. But this downfall has been too unreal for them.

They are asking him to take few years gap and work on his health, choose better scripts to announce his comeback on the big screen. Rashmika Mandanna's success streak ended with this and AR Murugadoss dream about big comeback can only be fulfilled by Madharasi starring Sivakarthikeyan.
